Our Commitment to Accessibility
K-Life Enterprise, Inc., operating the KANHA SUTRA brand, is committed to ensuring that our digital properties, including our website at https://kanhasutra.com/, mobile experiences, and online services, are accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal and full access to information and services, and we are actively working to meet that standard.
This Accessibility Statement applies to the KANHA SUTRA website located at https://kanhasutra.com/ (the "Site"). It reflects our ongoing commitment to digital accessibility, our current conformance status, the accessibility features we have implemented, and the specific gaps we are working to close.
We publish this Statement while remediation is still in progress, and we identify our known limitations openly below, because we believe an accurate account of where we stand is more useful to our customers than a general assurance.
Legal and Regulatory Framework
Our accessibility efforts are guided by the following legal authorities and standards:
- The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), Title III, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in places of public accommodation, which courts have increasingly interpreted to include commercial websites
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, to the extent applicable
- California Unruh Civil Rights Act (California Civil Code Section 51 et seq.), which broadly prohibits disability-based discrimination and provides independent claims for ADA violations under California law
- The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which serve as the industry-recognized technical standard for digital accessibility
The U.S. Department of Justice has issued final rules under Title II of the ADA requiring conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA for state and local government websites. No corresponding regulation currently applies to private commercial websites under Title III. We monitor developments in this area to ensure our practices remain current with evolving legal requirements, and we treat WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our standard regardless.
Conformance Status
KANHA SUTRA is committed to conforming with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards to the greatest extent reasonably feasible. WCAG 2.1 success criteria are organized around four core principles:
Principle | Description |
|---|---|
Perceivable | Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive. |
Operable | User interface components and navigation must be operable. |
Understandable | Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable. |
Robust | Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies. |
Our current conformance status is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. The specific areas that do not yet conform are listed in the Known Limitations and Remediation Plan section below, together with the target date for resolving each one. A full audit of our Site against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria is conducted at least annually, with targeted remediation completed on a rolling basis.
Accessibility Features Currently Implemented
We have implemented the following accessibility features on our Site:
Navigation and Keyboard Access
- Primary navigation menus, buttons, and links are accessible via keyboard navigation without requiring a mouse
- Visible focus indicators are present on interactive elements to assist keyboard and switch device users
- Logical and consistent tab order is maintained throughout all pages
- Skip navigation links are implemented to allow screen reader users to bypass repetitive navigation elements
Screen Reader Compatibility
- Product photography, ingredient imagery, and informational graphics include descriptive alternative text in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.1.1, and purely decorative images are marked so that assistive technology skips them
- Page titles are descriptive and unique to each page
- Error messages are communicated in text and are announced to assistive technology users
- ARIA landmark roles are used to identify key page regions
- Star ratings and other graphical indicators include a text equivalent stating the rating and review count
Visual Design and Readability
- Text content can be resized up to 200 percent without loss of functionality or content
- Color is not used as the sole means of conveying information
- Content reflows without horizontal scrolling at viewport widths down to 320 pixels
- We avoid the use of flashing content that could trigger photosensitive seizures; no content flashes more than three times per second
Forms and Interactive Features
- Form fields include visible labels that are programmatically associated with their inputs
- Error identification is specific, clear, and provides suggested corrections where possible
- Age confirmation and checkout processes are designed to be operable by screen reader and keyboard-only users
- Modal dialogs trap and return focus correctly and can be dismissed with the keyboard
- Time limits for form completion, where present, include accessible mechanisms to extend the time limit
Motion and Media
- We respect the operating system setting for reduced motion
- Media does not auto-play with sound
- Media players include keyboard-operable controls with visible focus
Mobile and Responsive Accessibility
- The Site is responsive and accessible on mobile devices
- Touch targets meet minimum size requirements
- Content does not require horizontal scrolling at standard viewport widths
- The Site is operable in both portrait and landscape orientations
- Content that can be operated by swiping can also be operated with visible previous and next controls

Third-Party Content and Embedded Features
Our Site may include content, tools, or services provided by third parties, including payment processors, reviews platforms, subscription management tools, social media plugins, and analytics providers. While we make reasonable efforts to select third-party vendors who meet our accessibility standards and contractually require accessibility compliance, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all third-party content or linked external websites.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on a third-party component embedded in our Site, please contact us using the information below so we can work with the vendor to address the issue or provide an accessible alternative.
Links to third-party websites are provided for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for the accessibility practices of external websites.
Our Approach to Remediation
We remediate accessibility issues in our own code. We do not use automated accessibility overlay widgets, which in our assessment do not deliver conformance and can interfere with a user's own assistive technology.
Ongoing Accessibility Efforts
Annual Accessibility Audits
We conduct a comprehensive accessibility audit of our Site at least once per calendar year. Audits include automated accessibility scanning and manual testing by accessibility specialists using common assistive technologies, including screen readers on desktop and mobile platforms.
Remediation Process
Accessibility issues identified during audits or reported by users are prioritized for remediation based on severity and impact. Critical barriers that prevent task completion are addressed within 30 business days of identification. Lower-priority issues are addressed in our standard product release cycle. We maintain a dated internal accessibility remediation log and track progress against identified issues.
Developer Training
Our development and design teams receive training on accessibility requirements and WCAG 2.1 standards. Accessibility review is incorporated into our standard quality assurance process for all new features and significant site updates.
User Testing
We periodically conduct accessibility user testing with individuals who use assistive technologies to gain direct feedback on the accessibility of our Site and services.
Accessibility Feedback and Assistance
We welcome feedback about the accessibility of our Site. If you experience any barriers to accessing content, encounter a feature that does not function as expected with your assistive technology, or need content provided in an accessible format, please contact us:

When you contact us, it helps if you can tell us the page or web address where you encountered the problem, what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and the browser, device, and assistive technology you were using.
Response Commitment
We are committed to responding to all accessibility inquiries and feedback within 3 business days of receipt. If we are unable to resolve an issue within that timeframe, we will provide an acknowledgment with an estimated resolution timeline.
Alternative Access
If you are unable to complete a transaction or access content on our Site due to an accessibility barrier, we are committed to providing reasonable assistance through alternative means. Please contact us by phone at (866) 988-7405 and a team member will assist you in completing your transaction or obtaining the information you need, including product ingredient, warning, and lab testing information, at the same pricing and promotional terms available online.
Formal Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility complaint, you have the right to submit a complaint to the appropriate government authority. Applicable authorities include:
- The U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, for ADA Title III complaints: https://www.ada.gov/filing-a-complaint/
